21 March 2022, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – The Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne and the Filipino Community, including members of the Filipino Ballers Club in Melbourne, Melbourne Hoops Ltd., Clyde North Ravens and the Philippine Times newspaper turned up in full force to cheer on Filipino basketball star Kai Sotto, who has signed on to play for the Adelaide 36ers during a Multicultural Game against Melbourne United at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne.

Kai Sotto proved to be one of the Adelaide 36ers’ top scorers, scoring 12 out of 74 points by Adelaide, but the home court defenders broke into a strong second half to score 101 points by the end of the game.
