MELBOURNE PCG ORGANIZES WORKSHOP SESSIONS FOR PROJECT RESILIENCE FOR ITS PERSONNEL

The Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne organized a five-part series of online mindfulness sessions called Project Resilience: Mindfulness and Well-Being provided by Philippine-based White Space Wellness.

This project seeks to help the Consulate personnel to develop soft skills and promote their physiological and psychological well-being in the face of the stressful and difficult conditions of modern life, particularly with the challenges of the Covid pandemic.

The synchronous sessions were held on September 23, 25, 28, 30 and October 2, 2021 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. The five sessions were: 1) Finding calm in the face of challenging circumstances; 2) Tai Chi session; 3) Dealing with difficult emotions; 4) Dealing with disempowering thoughts; and 5) Cultivating positive emotions in negative times.

The synchronous interactive sessions were facilitated by Eileen Tupaz, an international mindfulness meditation teacher.
