Pinay vloggers pitch for PH tourism promo
Fiesta Filipinas featuring Flores de Mayo

Two Filipino vloggers joined dozens of global participants last May 29 in an online celebration of Flores de Mayo, a much-anticipated Filipino summer festival.

Flores de Mayo was the latest Filipino festival featured in Fiesta Filipinas, a series of online events to help create awareness of Philippine festivals and other tourist attractions while travel remains at a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fiesta Filipinas is a joint cultural diplomacy initiative of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, the Department of Tourism, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

For the Flores de Mayo episode, the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne invited well-known Filipino vloggers Princess Ann Melchor and Teri Judit, to participate and share their virtual experience with their growing audiences.
